Platform Manager Platform Manager in Malta: own the backlog, coordinate with external dev partners, and deliver platform enhancements with clarity and stakeholder care — 4 days in office. Location: Malta (4 days in the office, 1 day remote) Our client is looking for a Platform Manager to join its Product team in Malta. Reporting to the Project Manager , this role will be responsible for managing the relationship with the company's external back-office development partner, ensuring that platform enhancements are delivered on time and aligned with business priorities. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for the external back-office development team. Own and manage the back-office development backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with business needs. Gather, refine and communicate business requirements to development teams. Coordinate feature planning, delivery timelines and release expectations. Work closely with Product, Development, Operations and other internal stakeholders to ensure platform enhancements support business objectives. Liaise with external providers to ensure clear communication, accountability and timely delivery. Monitor progress of ongoing initiatives, proactively identifying risks, blockers and dependencies. Adapt quickly to changing business priorities and evolving requirements. Drive projects forward by following up on outstanding tasks and ensuring commitments are delivered. Maintain clear documentation and provide regular updates on project status and delivery progress. Requirements Around 2–3 years' experience in a Product, Platform, Project or Delivery Management role within iGaming or a related technology environment. Experience managing software development backlogs and coordinating feature delivery. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment. Highly organised, proactive and delivery-focused. Persistent and confident in driving actions to completion rather than simply coordinating communication. Experience working with external software development teams or third-party providers. B2B platform experience is highly desirable. B2C online casino experience would be considered an asset. Must be based in Malta and willing to work from the office 4 days per week .
