- Engage in daily problem solving by analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and troubleshooting issues using existing software tools and PLM applications.
- Communicate with stakeholders and users via email and other channels to understand issues, clarify requirements, and provide technical solutions.
- Work both independently and collaboratively to configure and support PLM tools, primarily focusing on Windchill, and coordinate with team members who support related tools such as DOORS and JIRA.
Essential Skills
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a softwarerelated discipline with some professional work experience, OR an associates degree in one of these fields with 2+ years of work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) or data management tools.
- Programming experience in languages such as C++ (coursework or internship experience is acceptable).
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think analytically and design technical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with customers and stakeholders via email and other channels.

- Intermediate experience with SysML development and implementation.
- Handson experience with PTC Windchill; experience with other PLM platforms such as Siemens or Dassault Enovia is also valuable.
- Experience working with or configuring PLM tools, including Windchill, even at a user or frontend level.
- Familiarity with requirements management and collaboration tools such as DOORS and JIRA.
- Background in engineering or computer science, with the ability to understand complex technical systems and design solutions.
- Curiosity, selfstarter mindset, and a strong desire to learn and stay current with evolving PLM technologies.
- Ability to create and deliver training content for diverse user groups.
Work Environment
The role operates within a technical, engineeringfocused environment that supports a major U.S. Navy weapon system and related digital engineering initiatives. You will work as part of a collaborative team that builds, configures, and maintains PLM solutions, with a primary focus on PTC Windchill and integration with tools such as DOORS and JIRA. The work involves a mix of independent problem solving and close collaboration with subject matter experts and integrated product teams.
