Job Description This is a remote position. Recruitment context Our Client is looking for a Project Manager Data Collection for AI to structure, lead, and secure data collection projects intended for artificial intelligence use cases. The position is part of a context of developing activities related to AI, with a growing need for reliable, qualified, diverse, and usable data to train, test, or improve models. The role is at the interface between business needs, technical/data teams, operational teams, and external partners. Position challenge The main challenge is to ensure the proper execution of data collection projects, from defining the need to the final delivery of datasets, while ensuring a high level of quality, traceability, and compliance. The candidate must be able to transform a sometimes complex AI need into a clear, operational, and measurable data collection plan. Key Responsibilities The Project Manager will be responsible for: · Defining data collection projects: objectives, scope, volumes, languages, formats, deadlines, budget, and quality criteria · Set up the workflows for data collection, annotation, validation, and delivery. · Coordinate internal and external resources involved in the projects. · Monitor project progress and anticipate operational risks · Ensure the quality of the data produced and their conformity to specifications · Ensure clear reporting to internal teams and management · Participate in structuring the methods, tools, and best practices of data collection for AI. Requirements Target profile The profile sought is a highly structured project manager, focused on operations and quality , with a good understanding of data/AI issues. The position does not necessarily require a technical data scientist profile, but the candidate must be sufficiently comfortable with data topics to communicate with technical teams and understand the constraints related to AI datasets. Expected experience Desired experience in one of the following environments: · Data collection, data annotation, data labeling or dataset management. · Artificial intelligence, machine learning, NLP, speech, computer vision, or LLM · Localization, translation, linguistics, multilingual content, or international operations · Management of complex digital projects with a strong quality component and coordination of external resources Essential Skills · Project management: scoping, planning, budgeting, risk monitoring, reporting · Data culture: understanding the concepts of dataset, annotation, quality, bias, metadata, validation · Multi-stakeholder coordination: internal teams, freelancers, vendors, linguistic or data experts. · Operational rigor and strong quality orientation Desired Personal Qualities · Very good organization. · Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel · Clear, structured communication · Autonomy and sense of responsibility · Analytical mindset and ability to solve problems · Ability to adapt in an international and changing environment
