· Disassemble and reassemble equipment. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, overhauls and troubleshooting all types of equipment.

· Adjust, align, assemble, calibrate, inspect, lubricate and test commercial food equipment, electrical/mechanical and electronics troubleshooting.

· Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to perform service of the unit.

· Develop solutions that are in the best interest of the customer.

· Order parts and completed required paperwork.

· Communicate effectively with customers, field supervisor, dispatchers and employees.

· Responsible for vehicle inventory, maintenance and appearance.

· Complete all work tasks in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company safety standards.

  • < 1 year of experience
  • EPA Certification preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of technical program preferred but not required
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of basic electricity; amperage, voltage and current, understanding of basic heating and refrigeration, water quality and filtration principles.
  • Ability to diagnose commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment performance through observation, testing and setup.
  • Electrical and mechanical experience a plus.
  • Ability to operate a commercial vehicle and trailer.
  • Ability to accurately complete documents to verify work performed.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
