PMO Analyst

We are looking for a PMO Analyst to join our team.


Role summary


The PMO Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the seamless delivery of Kaplan’s project and programme portfolio. Working alongside Project Managers, Sponsors, and Leadership, you will maintain project governance standards, oversee financial tracking, and manage benefit tracking across the delivery lifecycle.


Project & Programme Support


  • Work with Project Managers to ensure that all governance and documentation is completed to the expected level of quality

  • Work with Benefit Owners to complete regular reviews of benefits progress

  • Produce and maintain benefits dashboards to actively track project benefits

  • Gather project updates for reporting

  • Manage lessons learned activities (ensuring they have owners, deadlines and are progressing)

  • Ensure that all projects have a controlled start up and closure, and have met governance throughout their project delivery

  • Ensure project status reports are completed on time, to the expected quality, and in the required format

  • Actively support the Project Managers to manage their risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID)

  • Review project Risk & Issue logs, ensuring risks are captured in the correct format and that mitigation plans are valid and in place

  • Complete QA & audit checks on projects

  • Manage project documentation, storing documents aligned to naming conventions

  • Manage Timesheet systems - set up new staff & projects, run reports and produce information for staff costs

  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives

What you’ll bring to the role


This role will suit a collaborative, proactive self-starter who works well independently and also as part of a team with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. You will preferably have experience working as a Project Coordinator or within a PMO Analyst environment, specifically:


  • PRINCE2 Practitioner certification (or ability to demonstrate requisite knowledge)

  • Knowledge of the SDLC & Agile methodologies

  • Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office spreadsheets, documents and reports

  • Operating in a robust environment of methods, frameworks and standards, including: agile delivery, change and release management
