We are a newly established team in Novonesis’ Supply Chain organization, created to drive the global PPWR Program and help ensure compliance with the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation. This is a unique opportunity to join a team at the start of an important journey.

Our work supports the transition towards more sustainable packaging solutions while helping Novonesis prepare for and respond to one of the most significant packaging regulations in Europe. Today, we are five colleagues representing four nationalities, and we are growing to nine as the PPWR Program moves into execution. We are a collaborative team with a strong mix of backgrounds, experiences, and diversity of thought.

We combine a structured PMO setup and solid project framework with an open, curious, and pragmatic way of working. We take our responsibilities seriously, but we also value a good laugh and social gatherings. The role & your impact
As PMO Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of the global PPWR Program. The role is strongly focused on execution in a complex and innovative environment. You will help ensure robust project governance, reporting quality, and financial transparency across the program while supporting project managers and stakeholders in driving successful outcomes.

The PPWR Program involves replacing existing packaging materials with compliant solutions across a broad portfolio of initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with project managers and stakeholders across the organization and provides significant visibility to senior leadership and key decision-makers.

Your key responsibilities in this role

• Work independently within the established project governance framework, acting as a central point of contact for governance, reporting processes, and professional project management support.
• Collect, consolidate, and quality-check project status updates, milestone progress, and financial reporting across the program and its workstreams.
• Follow up proactively with project managers and workstream leads to ensure timely, accurate reporting and resolution of missing information or inconsistencies.
• Prepare clear presentations, status reports, financial summaries, and other materials to support the Program Manager and project managers.
• Provide coordination, structure, practical project management guidance, and highlight financial deviations, risks, and areas requiring follow-up.
• Support reporting, governance, and follow-up activities while maintaining clear boundaries with the Program Manager's responsibilities, without owning project delivery.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, or a related discipline, with approximately 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in PMO, project controlling, program coordination, or a similar role.
• Proven experience consolidating project status, milestone reporting, financial information, and governance activities across multiple projects or workstreams.
• Experience supporting Program Managers, Project Managers, and senior stakeholders in a complex organization through reporting, coordination, workshop facilitation, and presentation development.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn project and financial data into clear insights, combined with excellent PowerPoint and Microsoft Office capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work collaboratively, challenge unclear input constructively, and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Highly structured, proactive, and detail-oriented, able to work independently, close information gaps, and understand when to involve or escalate to the Program Manager or Line Manager.

Additional skills & interests we value

• Experience from a large, cross-functional, or international organization.
• Familiarity with PMO tools, portfolio-management solutions, or similar project-management systems.
• Ability to build trust and act as a credible project-management sparring partner for stakeholders.
• Confidence working across functions, projects, and seniority levels without formal authority, combined with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
• Interest in sustainability, regulatory compliance, and business transformation initiatives.

Working conditions
We are working with an Office First approach as we believe good culture and social interactions are best done in person, while also allowing flexibility to work from home.

Working hours can be flexible. As a global company, project activities may occasionally align with stakeholders in different regions, and flexibility is managed in dialogue with your manager and team.

Travel is expected to be limited. The role can require presence at several Novonesis locations in Denmark, primarily within Greater Copenhagen.
