Policy Engineer | Remote EU | Long-Term Contract
RED, on behalf of a key consulting partner, is currently looking for a Policy Engineer to join a major international IT programme.
Location: 100% Remote (EU)
Start: ASAP
Contract: Initial contract until 31st December 2026
Language: English
Workload: Full-time
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience in Security Engineering or Backend Engineering
- Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, RBAC and ABAC
- Experience with identity-aware authorization and claims-based access decisions
- Authorization policy design within enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Policy-as-Code solutions such as OPA, Cedar, or similar frameworks
- Strong Python development skills
- Understanding of trust boundaries between systems, services and applications
