Most portfolio reporting roles are focused on keeping the system running. This one gives you ownership of the platforms, the team, and how reporting operates across the firm.
We're partnering with a growing national wealth management firm looking to add a Portfolio Reporting Manager to lead the systems and processes behind client performance reporting. This person will take ownership of the Addepar and Orion environments, support advisor onboarding and conversions, lead day-to-day reporting operations, and serve as a key resource across Operations, Technology and Advisor teams.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how portfolio reporting works end to end and can step into the details while also improving the broader process.
What You'll Own
Lead day-to-day portfolio reporting operations and provide guidance to the reporting team
Oversee reporting workflows to ensure accurate and timely delivery of client reporting
Manage and support Addepar and Orion across account setup, coding, custodian links, reconciliations and performance reporting
Monitor daily data integrity, alternative asset reporting, integrations and system exceptions
Manage monthly performance updates and ongoing platform maintenance
Serve as an escalation point for complex reporting, system and data issues
Document processes, support system updates and participate in testing and implementation initiatives
Partner closely with Advisors, Operations, Technology and other internal teams
Advisor Onboarding & Conversions
Lead reporting-related onboarding for newly added advisors and client groups
Establish clients and accounts within Addepar and Orion
Link accounts to custodians and confirm reporting structure
Coordinate historical transaction, balance and performance conversions
Reconcile converted data and resolve discrepancies
Configure custom attributes and reporting requirements
Build and test client reporting packages with internal users
Maintain appropriate internal controls throughout the conversion process
Leadership & Process Improvement
Provide hands-on mentorship, training and day-to-day support to portfolio reporting team members
Help prioritize team workloads, deadlines and reporting requirements
Review work and provide feedback focused on accuracy and consistency
Lead knowledge sharing across systems, reporting workflows and operational processes
Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements across reporting operations
Participate in cross-functional projects involving Reporting, Operations, Technology and Advisors
Support onboarding and development of new team members
Maintain clear written procedures and process documentation
