Postcard and Letter Writing Volunteer

Help us reach voters and make a difference in this election!

Overview:

Join our effort to elect local candidates by writing personalized postcards and letters to voters. Your words will help build connections, share candidate information, and encourage people to get out and vote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write postcards and/or letters to local voters.

• Follow provided templates and messaging guidelines.

• Personalize messages to make them warm and engaging.

• Track your progress (number of cards/letters completed).

• Return completed postcards/letters by the requested deadline.

• (Optional) Help prepare materials for other volunteers (bundling, stamping, etc.).

Time Commitment:

• Flexible — write from home or join an in-person writing session!

• Typical commitment: 1–2 hours per week, but any amount of time is appreciated.

These qualities and skills will be helpful:

• Legible handwriting or access to a printer (for letter templates).

• Ability to follow messaging guidelines.

• Attention to detail and respect for voter privacy.

• Enthusiasm for supporting local candidates.
