DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee). The Impact you will have in this role: We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with experience to design, develop, and maintain impactful dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and SQL, along with exposure to cloud-based data platforms. This role requires close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance reporting solutions. Your Primary Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. Build and optimize data models (star/snowflake schemas) to support analytical and reporting requirements. Develop efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational and cloud-based sources. Implement and manage Power BI datasets, reports, dashboards, and workspaces. Monitor and improve report performance, optimizing queries, data models, and visualizations Perform Power BI administration tasks, including: User access management and role-based security (RLS). Dataset refreshes scheduling and monitoring. Gateway setup and maintenance Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions. Ensure compliance with data governance, data quality, and data security standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, datasets, and data refreshes. Create and maintain technical documentation and end-user guides. Qualifications: Minimum of 6+ years of related experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Talents Needed for Success: 6+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI. Strong proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or similar). Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema). Experience working with structured and semi-structured data. Knowledge of ETL concepts and data pipelines supporting BI solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, etc.). Familiarity with DAX and Power Query (M language). Exposure to data governance and reporting standards. Experience in performance tuning and large dataset handling.
