Power BI Developer (SC Cleared) - Contract
Cloud PeoplePower BI Developer (SC Cleared)
💰 £400 per day, inside IR35, contract running to the end of March 2027
📍 Home based, with potential for occasional site visit
Company & role
This role sits with an established UK technology consultancy delivering cloud, data and AI programmes into central government and other regulated environments. Their data practice builds the platforms and reporting that underpin large public sector transformation work, and reporting demand on the programme has grown to the point where they need dedicated Power BI capability through to spring 2027.
You will own the reporting and analytics layer on a programme where the source data sits largely in Dataverse, Dynamics 365 and the wider Power Platform, alongside SQL and relational sources. The work runs from data model design through to the dashboards senior stakeholders actually make decisions on.
**Active SC clearance is essential**
Why This Role Stands Out
- A long contract with real runway, booked through to the end of March 2027, rather than a rolling three month extension cycle
- Fully home based, so no commute and no fixed site attendance
- You own the semantic layer, not just the visuals. This is modelling and DAX work as much as dashboard design
- A varied source estate across Dataverse, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and SQL, which makes for more interesting work than a single warehouse feed
- Fabric and Azure data services are in the picture, so there is scope to work on a modern analytics stack rather than legacy reporting
- Direct access to business users and senior stakeholders, so you see what your reporting actually changes
