Mission Bridge Partners is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to support a federal healthcare technology modernization program. This is a hands-on development opportunity – not simply administering or configuring existing applications – focused on designing, building, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications, automated workflows, and reporting solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform.

The ideal candidate brings advanced expertise in Microsoft Power Apps development, along with strong experience integrating Power Automate, Power BI, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365. Must be a U.S. citizen.

This individual will work across multiple program teams to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions that improve operational efficiency, portfolio visibility, and program performance.

Key Responsibilities

Power Apps Development
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Independently translate business requirements into functional, scalable, and user-friendly applications.
  • Build solutions supporting project management, portfolio tracking, documentation, business processes, and operational workflows.
  • Integrate Power Apps with Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Troubleshoot application performance, usability, security, data access, and integration issues.
  • Implement development best practices supporting application security, permissions, maintainability, and lifecycle management.
  • Manage application development backlogs and deliver enhancements based on evolving business priorities.

Power Automate & Workflow Integration
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power Automate workflows supporting enterprise business processes.
  • Automate manual and repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and data consistency.
  • Integrate automated workflows with Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and other approved systems.
  • Troubleshoot workflow failures and optimize existing automations for reliability and performance.

Power BI Development & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions using multiple enterprise data sources.
  • Integrate Power BI with Azure DevOps and other business systems to support portfolio management, project execution, and performance reporting.
  • Perform data transformation, modeling, and validation to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
  • Develop intuitive visualizations that provide leadership with actionable operational insights.

Azure DevOps & Enterprise Integration
  • Integrate Azure DevOps data with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Leverage Azure DevOps work items, backlogs, and reporting capabilities to support project and portfolio management.
  • Develop solutions that improve visibility into delivery progress, resource capacity, dependencies, and performance metrics.
  • Support integration between Microsoft Power Platform applications and enterprise collaboration tools.

Collaboration & Solution Delivery
  • Partner with technical teams, product owners, analysts, and program leadership to gather and refine requirements.
  • Independently recommend appropriate technical approaches based on business needs.
  • Manage competing development priorities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate completed solutions, incorporate user feedback, and deliver iterative enhancements.
  • Maintain technical documentation and provide guidance to support adoption and long-term application maintenance.
  • Apply Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) concepts when developing portfolio and execution management solutions.

Required Qualifications
  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions within complex enterprise environments.
  • Advanced experience designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft Power Apps applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex business applications from requirements gathering through implementation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate and enterprise workflow automation.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and integrating multiple data sources.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and enterprise data integration.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance, functionality, and maintainability.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies, particularly portfolio management and execution tracking.
  • Experience managing multiple development priorities and supporting stakeholders across different teams or programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting federal government or large-scale enterprise technology modernization programs.
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT environments and complex program operations.
  • Experience developing Power Platform solutions supporting portfolio management, operational reporting, or program performance.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate certification.
  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification.
  • SAFe certification.
