Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $55,000.00 Annually OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Practicum Coordinator is responsible for working with students, Academic Leadership and Faculty to plan, organize, supervise, and ensure students’ success in each program’s practice experience requirements. ORGANIZATIONAL DIMENSIONS OF JOB: This position works with the Assistant Dean of Nursing and Healthcare Programs and the Dean of Nursing and Healthcare Programs to maintain program integrity, promote optimum practice experience learning opportunities for students, and foster a rich on-line environment for the students to meet the College’s practice experience requirements. Job Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, business, data analytics, or related field required. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in nursing education, clinical coordination, healthcare operations, academic administration, or a related field. Knowledge of nursing education programs, practicum requirements, healthcare systems, and clinical placement processes. Understanding of accreditation standards, state board requirements, clinical compliance, and documentation associated with nursing education programs. Demonstrated experience coordinating complex schedules, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining detailed records in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to independently manage competing deadlines and oversee multiple practicum activities simultaneously. Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with students, faculty, preceptors, clinical partners, and internal stakeholders through virtual communication channels. Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with geographically dispersed healthcare organizations and academic partners. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and other cloud-based collaboration tools. Experience using student information systems, learning management systems, CRM platforms, and nursing education technology solutions. Proficiency with clinical education and practicum management databases, including Typhon, Exxat, InPlace, Project Concert, CastleBranch, Complio, or similar clinical tracking and placement management systems. Demonstrated ability to use technology to track clinical hours, monitor student compliance, maintain affiliation agreements, manage practicum placements, generate reports, and support accreditation requirements. Strong data management and reporting skills, including the ability to analyze placement data, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for leadership and accreditation purposes. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies, databases, and software applications supporting nursing education and clinical operations. Self-directed and highly accountable, with demonstrated success working independently in a fully remote environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive student, faculty, and clinical partner information in accordance with institutional policies and applicable regulations.
