Diaceutics PLC is a diagnostic-driven therapy commercialization company. For 20 years we have built the intelligence and engagement solutions that help biopharma see where eligible patients are emerging, engage the HCPs and labs shaping treatment decisions, and move faster from diagnostic activity to therapy adoption. The therapies we support touch 1 in 10 American lives - 30 to 40 million patients a year - across 700+ diagnostic-driven therapies, backed by a network of 600+ US labs and clients including AbbVie, AstraZeneca, GSK, Novartis, Pfizer and Roche.
Our portfolio brings together Intelligence Solutions (Signal, Insight Services, and Practice Gaps launching soon) and Engagement Solutions (Physician Engage, Expert Exchange, Lab Engage, Scientific Engagement, Precision Medicine Educators), connected through Relay - a partnership model built for precision medicine - and powered by the DXRX platform and Reveal engine. We are headquartered in Jersey City, NJ (US) and Belfast, UK, and we are moving into our next chapter under a Precision for All ambition: a future where every eligible patient is identified, diagnosed and receives the right therapy at the right time.
Role Summary
The Precision Medicine Liaison (PML) partners with laboratory stakeholders across the DXRX network to bring scientific expertise into the lab environment and deliver awareness of evolving testing practices and capabilities. Understanding lab methodologies and workflows, PMLs are able to identify operational issues affecting test adoption, turnaround and workflow confidence, and support target laboratories in addressing testing and workflow needs through credible, practical support.
Combining in-depth field intelligence, with Diaceutics data and expert interpretation, PMLs deliver clear recommendations and guidance to drive appropriate actions to address testing pathways and barriers, and strengthen awareness around companion diagnostics while increasing test availability.
This role will be tasked with engaging clinical chemistry laboratories across the USA to deliver pre-approved scientific awareness materials, support the availability of specific patient-testing capabilities, to engage with and establish ongoing relationships with key laboratory stakeholders not limited to pathologists and lab managers, and to identify the barriers to testing adoption and integration and supporting the lab stakeholders on addressing these barriers.
This is a fixed term role supporting the launch of a therapy on behalf of a pharmaceutical partner. The PML will be working with clinical chemistry labs and references centers across the USA to support sufficient infrastructure is in place and to increase patient and HCP access to testing.
The role is primarily virtual with face-to-face visits with labs as required as well as conference attendance and visits to Diaceutics’ New Jersey office infrequently.
What we're looking for
With a primary focus on engagement with professionals associated to diagnostic testing laboratories, provide a valuable service in delivering awareness materials to pathologists and other key laboratory staff in the implementation of new and developing diagnostic testing to support patient-specific therapy options in the US.
Proactive contact and stakeholder identification, and engagement combined with problem solving to overcome barriers to engagement, and to establish working relationships with health care professionals.
Using pre-defined criteria and agreed strategic recommendations, undertake interview-style discussions with lab stakeholders and pathologists and accurately capture insights for the use of driving understanding of the testing landscape, capabilities, barriers to testing, lab-specific workflows and operational processes.
Ability to understand detailed scientific materials and translate key requirements and recommendations to target lab personnel.
Regularly and timely communicate with the Diaceutics Leadership, members of the client matrix team, and members of various home office support teams, as required.
Preparation of regular performance reports and progress metrics for management will be required, as well as maintenance and management of Diaceutics and client CRM systems to effectively track program progress.
Hold the responsibility of fully complying with all laws, regulations and Diaceutics’ policies, Code of Conduct, all privacy and data guidelines, relevant state and federal laws and regulations and terms and conditions prescribed in the PDMA Guidelines or similar country and/or local applicable regulations.
Perform special projects, assignments and other duties as directed by the manager.
Part of the assigned time may require travel to laboratory sites in the US, to represent Diaceutics and our Pharma partners at regional and national meetings or conferences, on behalf of the assigned program of work.
What you will need
A post-graduate degree preferred but not essential, with experience in a scientific field, scientific education, oncology, biotech, life science, diagnostic space or pharmaceutical sales or other experience demonstrating a thorough understanding of diagnostic laboratory testing processes.
Strong ability to identify suitable contacts from a designated target account list and establish an interaction to support project needs.

Experience working in a highly regulated environment; prior pharmaceutical experience a plus.
Strong collaboration skills, with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, across a virtual workspace.
Existing relationships with oncologists and/or pathologists desired but not essential, with an understanding of the US laboratory network and its stakeholders.
