- Design & Evolve Pricing Frameworks: Shape and continuously improve the methodologies, rate cards, and commercial frameworks used to drive pricing decisions across Australian Supermarkets, BIG W, and Retail Out of Home.
- Deliver Robust Scenario Modelling: Own pricing sensitivity and scenario modelling. You will evaluate potential changes to existing structures and forecast their impact on revenue, sales volume, yield, and inventory utilisation.
- Partner on New Product Launches: Collaborate closely with the Senior Commercial Analyst to provide high-quality pricing inputs, assumptions, and scenario models for upcoming product business cases.
- Investigate Commercial Performance: Look past the surface data to diagnose the underlying drivers of performance variance (such as discounting, demand, supply, and yield) and translate those insights into clear optimisation opportunities.
- Support Stakeholders & Challenge Assumptions: Structure ambiguous commercial problems into clear analytical questions, helping cross-functional partners understand the commercial trade-offs of alternative approaches whilst constructively challenging existing assumptions.

- Strong Analytical Capabilities: Outstanding problem-solving skills with a track record of evaluating alternative commercial scenarios, assessing trade-offs, and distilling complex data sets into clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- First-Class Stakeholder Communication: The confidence to partner with, present to, and influence senior and non-technical stakeholders across Product, Sales, and Finance.
- Data & Modelling Rigour: Advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities (including pricing and scenario modeling). Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker or Power BI is a distinct advantage.
- A Proactive, Collaborative Mindset: The ability to work constructively with incomplete information by leveraging proxies and benchmarks, combined with a strong desire to work collaboratively across diverse business units.
- A commitment to flexibility through a hybrid working model which combines time spent at a support office or hub and time working from home, supporting both in-person connection and balancing the flexibility that remote working provides for our teams.
- High-impact role supporting our teams who enrich our communities.
- A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline - with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.
- A range of programs to help you prioritise and manage your wellbeing, including 24/7 access to the Sonder app.
- A progressive and competitive leave policy that gives you more space for what matters to you.
