Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity


As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting pricing and compensation initiatives that impact corporate projects and business operations. You will provide pricing analytics, reporting, and deal analysis support for SMB and Large & Key Account merchants. In this role, you will help develop and implement pricing strategies, maintain pricing models, and deliver profitability insights that support business growth and merchant retention.


Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Portfolio Pricing.

Posting Type: Replacement.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $72,000 - $83,000.


Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.


Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to support the planning, documentation, and implementation of pricing and compensation initiatives.
  • Perform pricing analysis and provide deal support to help acquire and retain merchant accounts.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing models to support profitability analysis and business decision-making.
  • Participate in project and deal-review meetings, communicate project updates, and support stakeholder alignment across the organization.
  • Generate pricing reports, analytics, and insights to support strategic initiatives and ongoing business performance.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, customer-facing resources, and process documentation related to pricing.
  • Assess business impacts and recommend updates to processes, policies, procedures, training, and supporting documentation.

Required skills and experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in business analytics and financial analysis, including business case development, research, and cost analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling experience.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Understanding of KPI measurement and P&L analysis.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Experience that would set you apart

  • Exposure to VBA.
  • Exposure to Power BI and Tableau.
  • Experience in the payments industry.
  • Experience in pricing or revenue growth management.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
