At Nuffield Health, our purpose is to build a healthier nation. As a Pricing Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting pricing decisions across our hospital business, providing insight and analysis that helps drive sustainable revenue growth and commercial performance.

Working closely with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Revenue and Trading teams, you'll support pricing activity across Private Medical Insurance (PMI), Self-Pay and NHS services. You'll be responsible for analysing pricing opportunities, assessing the impact of pricing changes, maintaining pricing data integrity and providing clear recommendations that support effective decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with data, solving complex problems and influencing business decisions within a dynamic healthcare environment.

As our Pricing Analyst, you will:

  • Support pricing requests for new procedures, one-off prices and pricing reviews across PMI, Self-Pay and NHS services.
  • Provide financial and commercial analysis to support pricing decisions, insurer negotiations and wider commercial initiatives.
  • Assess the impact of proposed pricing changes, including annual uplifts, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Maintain pricing models, master product lists and core pricing data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Work closely with Revenue teams to ensure approved pricing updates are implemented accurately within billing systems.
  • Produce regular management information and insights on pricing performance, income trends and commercial opportunities.
  • Act as a key point of contact for pricing queries, supporting hospital, commercial and operational teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, systems, controls and data quality.

To succeed as our Pricing Analyst, we're looking for:

  • Experience in pricing, commercial analysis, financial analysis or a similar analytical role.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets, financial models and complex analysis.
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to interpret complex information and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement.

Desirable experience:

  • Previous experience within a pricing function or pricing analyst role.
  • Experience within healthcare, insurance or another regulated environment.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau or other data visualisation tools.
  • Knowledge of financial modelling, commercial performance analysis or pricing strategy.
  • Experience using AI tools to support analysis, efficiency and reporting.
