Majesco is seeking a Principal Business Analyst with knowledge of Life Insurance domain for North American Life & Annuity product line. Majesco has been identified in the ‘Visionary’ Quadrant as per Gartner’s report for L&A Product vendors in North America

All About the Role:

• Work closely with Product Management to translate the vision, strategy and the high-level product roadmap into tangible end to end User Acceptance Journeys and Test Cases from Policy to Claims and achieve business goals of the product.
• Work with a team of business consultants, business analysts and subject matter experts to ensure that each journey is detailed out keeping in mind the business users, how they service their customers, varying landscapes with each insurance carrier and different operating models
• Collaborate with Product Owners to understand outcomes for a product release and translate them into End to End test cases.
• Collaborate with Implementation & Production customers to identify reasons for defect leakage and improve the Quality Assurance Process.
• Work closely with the testing team to ensure adequate test coverage for the requirements outlined, the various patterns of scenarios are considered so that a high-quality delivery can be made
• Acts as champion of the product with abilities to demonstrate, discuss and articulate features, functions and underlying rational internally and externally.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
• Support issue analysis/triaging and provide fixes during test phases, as well as production issue resolution to ensure key Product SLAs are met.
• Support project management and participate in project planning, status reporting, and issue resolution
• Maintain strong knowledge of life insurance policy administration systems, industry trends, and emerging technologies
• Lead the requirements gathering process for the life insurance claim module, collaborating with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and IT teams.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Present and highlight features in product demos to wider audience / customer.

All About You:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or global equivalent) in Computer Science or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
• 15+ years professional experience; 10+ years working in L&A and Group insurance with other software packages. Experience of working in insurance operations is an added advantage
• Blend of business and technical understanding of core, data and digital cloud-based enterprise system for L&A and Group insurance
• Well versed with insurance technology vendor marketplace and key product and technology trends as well as competitive advancements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to present ideas and information in influential ways through storytelling
• Ability to forge relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Highly analytical and data driven mindset to plan and track performance of roadmap execution and effectiveness of the delivery.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while paying attention to details
• Leverage empowerment to explore new beyond specific assignments for improving overall value proposition of responsibilities
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Banking & Finance; Master’s degree a plus
• Experience with SAFe Agile Development practices and processes. SAFe Practitioner certification preferred.
• Experience with the Majesco Platforms/Products is a plus.
• Preferred Experience in configuration of banking or financial services products.
• Actuarial qualification will be preferred
• Extensive experience in creating complex excel workbooks, writing macros, or working in programming languages is a plus

Other Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Banking & Finance; Master’s degree a plus
• Experience with SAFe Agile Development practices and processes. SAFe Practitioner certification preferred.
• Experience with the Majesco Platforms/Products is a plus.
