Principal Consultant – Cloud Security, Financial Services

🧭 About the Role

Our client operates in the cybersecurity consulting sector.

We’re looking for a hands-on, director-level consulting professional to help financial institutions assess cloud, SaaS and AI adoption. You’ll translate security and regulatory requirements into practical safeguards, personally delivering assessments and recommendations. The role combines specialist delivery with accountability for consulting projects and client relationships.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for financial institutions adopting cloud and SaaS services.
• Evaluate controls in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud environments and assess cloud service providers.
• Analyse the security, privacy and regulatory implications of AI service adoption.
• Review applicable Korean financial regulations and translate requirements into actionable recommendations.
• Develop safeguards proportionate to service criticality and risk, supporting clients with implementation.
• Conduct interviews, review evidence and prepare assessment reports, remediation roadmaps, executive presentations and audit materials.
• Manage project schedules, quality and deliverables, coordinating with clients and international stakeholders.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• Ideally, 10+ years of relevant experience, with exposure to financial-sector security, IT risk, IT compliance or cloud/SaaS security assessments.
• Professional Korean and English, international project experience are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a four-year university
• Strong understanding of security management systems and controls, with experience as a Project Manager or Project Lead.
• Ability to investigate issues through interviews and analysis and develop practical recommendations.
• Ability to translate legal and standards-based requirements into operational processes and controls.
• Strong professional writing, client communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISA are advantageous.
