Learn more at www.verint.c om. Overview of Job Function Verint’s Principal Software Engineer designs and develops key cloud-first, full-stack software products. This includes the following responsibilities: (a) employing ReactJS, Java, SQL/NoSQL databases; (b) introducing innovative technologies for cloud service integration and new UI and back-end features; (c) identifying and implementing performance improvements; and (d) providing subject matter expertise for customer implementation and cloud platform support. This role works with Product Management, Development, Operations and Client Services teams to develop creative solutions satisfying technical and business requirements. Additionally, the role provides recommendations to management as to process, technologies, or other improvements intended to benefit productivity, efficiency and/or quality of the solutions developed by the team. Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership by influencing the design and architecture of major software components, systems, automation testing, and features Help foster the culture of creativity and excellence through technical innovations and thought leadership Mentor and train other engineers on design techniques, test automation methodologies and coding standards Lead and promote best practices in automated testing and continuous integration Improve architecture and code base to be scalable to support growth Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent organization, time management, and project leadership skills Adheres to strict deliverable deadlines while able to multi-task Responsible for architecting applications for the cloud Minimum Requirements: 8+ years of experience in design and architect of large-scale applications Advanced or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field Experience developing quality into the entire system Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and providing technical leadership on cutting-edge software development projects Hands-on experience, across full technology stack, in developing and architecting web applications that are scalable for large enterprise customers Excellent coding skills in C# (preferred) or Java required Experience with JavaScript UI library such as React, Angular or Vue is preferred Familiar with enterprise application security best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification Preferred Requirements: Exposure to automation, exploratory, and modern testing techniques Provides technical and professional leadership to other developers.
