Is this job info correct?

As a Principal Frontend / WebGL Engineer at Technosylva, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architecture, quality, and technical direction of the interactive, data-rich web applications we build for our clients. You will lead the frontend engineering effort — setting standards and mentoring other developers while staying hands-on with the code — and help design and deliver high-performance, visually rich experiences, including real-time 2D/3D geospatial visualizations powered by WebGL. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a technical leader who can help us build better solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES Own the technical vision and architecture of our frontend platform. Define the technical roadmap, design large-scale systems, and align technical goals with business objectives. Design and build high-performance, interactive web applications, including real-time 2D/3D and geospatial visualizations using WebGL. Set and enforce standards for clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code across the frontend team. Lead and mentor other frontend developers, performing code reviews and fostering technical growth. Integrate frontend components with existing products, backend services, and REST APIs. Optimize rendering performance, memory usage, and load times for large and complex datasets. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across browsers and devices; recommend and implement improvements. Create technical documentation for reference and reporting. Technical Leadership: Solve the hardest engineering problems, guide multi-team projects. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, executives, and other technical leads to plan future software capabilities. Taking ownership of software-related complaints and working toward finding solutions. Analyzing data to spot potential weaknesses or problems with software. Overseeing initial software rollouts and updates to ensure smooth implementation. Participating in leadership meetings to contribute to corporate strategy. Lead the technical vision, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of complex software systems while aligning engineering efforts with business goals. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS Strong JavaScript (ES6+ / TypeScript): Deep understanding of core JavaScript concepts. You must be highly comfortable with the event loop, memory management, closures, asynchronous programming (Promises/Async-Await), and performance optimization at the language level. 3D Rendering & Performance: Build and optimize real-time map rendering pipelines using WebGL, GLSL shaders, or frameworks like Three.js, CesiumJS, or Mapbox GL. Geospatial Data Integration: Process complex spatial data sets, map projections, coordinate reference systems, and vector/raster tile streams. Deep expertise with at least one major frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue, or similar). Proven experience designing scalable, resilient frontend architectures and applying appropriate design patterns. Experience consuming and integrating REST API applying design patterns. Strong use of unit tests and modern build/CI tooling. Experience leading, mentoring, or setting the technical direction of a team of engineers. Fluency in English. Experience: Typically 10+ years of software development experience with a strong track record of delivering large, complex systems. Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business executives. BENEFITS Competitive annual salary. Health insurance. Annual bonus based on company performance. Flexible schedule. Remote work options. At Technosylva, we value diverse experiences and skills, and we understand that every career path is unique. We encourage anyone who believes they meet most of the requirements and is interested in growing and contributing in this role to apply. DISCLAIMER Finalization of salary and benefits depends on a multitude of factors including: location, experience, training, qualifications, and market demands. COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION Technosylva is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where different perspectives contribute to better solutions.
