We are looking for a senior Human Resources advisor who can connect business priorities with forward-looking workforce, talent, leadership, and organizational strategies. As a Principal HR Business Partner, you will partner primarily with executive and senior executives and their leadership teams, bringing business insight, enterprise perspective, workforce analytics, and sound judgment to complex decisions. You will help leaders strengthen organizational performance while shaping sustainable people solutions across workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, succession planning, leadership effectiveness, change leadership, and business transformation.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Work-life balance with vacation, personal time and paid holidays.
  • Applicants for this position must not now, nor at any point in the future, require sponsorship for employment.
  • This is a hybrid role (two days in office minimum) located in Omaha, NE.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Coach and advise executive and senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, organizational performance, talent decisions, and change leadership, providing candid and constructive counsel while maintaining trust.
  • Translate business strategy into forward-looking workforce and people priorities by developing a deep understanding of the assigned business area, its operating model, financial drivers, customer needs, competitive environment, workforce risks, and required capabilities.
  • Lead multi-year workforce planning and use workforce data, business forecasts, external trends, and scenario modeling to identify capability gaps, workforce risks, and opportunities.
  • Assess organizational structures, operating models, decision rights, accountabilities, spans, layers, capabilities, and work processes, then recommend solutions that improve alignment, role clarity, collaboration, scalability, and execution.
  • Shape talent and succession strategies for senior leadership, critical positions, and strategically important capabilities, facilitating rigorous discussions about readiness, potential, retention risk, and development priorities.
  • Lead the people strategy for significant transformations, organizational changes, integrations, and enterprise initiatives, addressing leadership, talent, structure, capabilities, culture, communication, and adoption.
  • Provide functional leadership to the HR consulting organization by establishing consulting standards, mentoring HR professionals, and leading or contributing to cross-business and enterprise initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources, business administration, organizational development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field, including progressive experience in HR consulting, HR business partnership, workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, or talent management.
  • Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders on complex workforce, talent, leadership, and organizational matters and leading initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, functions, or business areas.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic workforce planning, organization design, talent and succession planning, leadership effectiveness, change leadership, and workforce analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to combine qualitative and quantitative information into clear insights and influence business decisions with strong consultation, facilitation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment with sensitive information, lead through influence, and work effectively across organizational boundaries.
  • You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.

PREFERRED:

  • Professional HR certification, such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP.
  • Experience supporting major business segments, enterprise functions, senior executives, or executive leadership teams and leading organization design, workforce transformation, integration, enterprise change, or operating-model initiatives.
  • Experience developing HR professionals or leading an HR consulting team and using workforce analytics, scenario planning, and organizational diagnostics to guide strategic decisions.
