Principal Process Engineer - PSC

Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Process Engineer on a contract basis to support our process engineering team for a contract basis minimum of 12 months. This role can be based in Glasgow or Stockton and hybrid working with the expectation of working 3 days from our office. The Role You will be joining the Glasgow & Stockton Process team and will have responsibility for process delivery across all stages of the design process on Pharmaceutical and Life Science Projects. Wood offers a wide range services in the UK and overseas industries in Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences, O&G, Refining, Petrochemical, Chemicals, but also working in the power sector and emerging technologies, such as Hydrogen and CCS in the energy transition market. We are looking for engineers with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our performance on projects across the full life cycle, from studies through FEED and DD/EPC to ensure that Wood continues to differentiate itself from its competitors by delivering quality projects to our Client’s requirements. Expected: Chemical Engineering Degree Chartered Chemical Engineer status (preferred) Have experience of working on and leading Studies, FEED and EPC projects associated with Pharms/Life Science Have proven core Process Engineering skills, including design experience Be self-motivated, proactive individual with high achievement drive and initiative Have good verbal and written communication skills and good organisational awareness Be ability to impact and influence fellow workers and be able to engage directly with Clients Demonstrate successful project delivery through taking ownership of tasks and understanding the impact on other deliverables and disciplines
