The Impact you will have in this role:
The team is hiring a Principal Scrum Master to strengthen governance, controls, documentation, and auditability processes supporting the ServiceNow platform for Enterprise Change, Incident, and Problem Management. The role will partner closely with stakeholders across the organization to drive Agile delivery, improve operational efficiency, and ensure adherence to governance standards within a highly regulated financial services environment
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Manage bi-weekly sprint execution and delivery tracking.
- Coordinate and communicate with multiple stakeholders regarding deliverables, dependencies, and approvals.
- Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting delivery.
- Manage backlog intake, user stories, and sprint reporting.
- Maintain documentation, governance controls, and audit trails.
- Drive process improvements and adoption of Agile best practices.
- Ensure all work and decisions are properly captured in Jira for audit and compliance purposes.
Talents Needed for Success:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Scrum certification.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira.
- Experience working as a Scrum Master within a large financial services organization or major financial institution.
- Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing Agile delivery, sprint processes, and backlogs.
- Strong governance, controls, documentation, and auditability mindset.
- Experience supporting regulated environments with compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to ServiceNow.
- Experience supporting Change Management, Incident Management, or Problem Management functions.
- Background implementing Agile best practices and improving team efficiency.
