Job Overview:
Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Principal Software Engineer, DSD Routing & Delivery Technology to support and evolve technology solutions across our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Routing, Delivery, and Fleet technology portfolio.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and delivering practical solutions that create business value. The successful candidate will partner with Product Owners, Engineers, Architects, Vendors, and Business Stakeholders to design, build, integrate, and support solutions across a diverse technology landscape. This position combines technical leadership, engineering execution, solution delivery, and mentoring while helping drive continuous improvement throughout our technology environment.
This position is ideally a hybrid role based in Frisco, TX, with in-office work from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday. Possibility for remote work for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, test, implement, and support technology solutions.
- Analyze complex business and technical challenges and translate them into practical, scalable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Agile product teams and development resources.
- Remain actively engaged in solution delivery through design reviews, troubleshooting, testing, deployment support, and production issue resolution.
- Design and support integrations across SAP, MuleSoft, SaaS platforms, internal applications, and data platforms.
- Partner with business teams to understand requirements and deliver value-driven solutions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve automation, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore resources to ensure successful delivery and support.
- Apply Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and quality engineering practices to improve reliability and delivery performance.
- Mentor engineers and help grow technical capabilities across the team.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, analytics capabilities, automation tools, and AI-enabled solutions that can drive business value.
Total Rewards:
- Salary Range: $96,800 - 154,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, integration engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise application delivery.
- Experience designing and delivering solutions across multiple applications, platforms, and technologies.
- Strong understanding of software development practices, APIs, databases, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Experience with enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware, data flows, or event-driven architectures.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and provide technical leadership.
Preferred
- Experience with SAP, MuleSoft, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience supporting Supply Chain, Logistics, Routing, Delivery, Fleet, Warehouse, Manufacturing, or Field Operations systems.
- Experience integrating SaaS solutions with enterprise applications.
- Experience with Azure, GCP, AWS, Databricks, or similar cloud platforms.
- Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, or observability tools.
- Experience working with hybrid onshore/offshore delivery teams.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development, Microsoft Copilot, intelligent automation, or related technologies.
