Role Description The Principal Solutions Architect is a permanent role based in Brisbane, QLD, with a hybrid working arrangement that combines on‑site collaboration and some work from home. This role leads end‑to‑end solution design across complex technology and digital delivery initiatives, ensuring architectures are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include translating business requirements into solution architectures, guiding integration approaches, and working closely with delivery, product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure predictable, standards‑driven outcomes.

The Principal Solutions Architect will provide consulting support to senior leaders, mentor other architects and technical specialists, and contribute to continuous improvement of architecture practices, patterns, and governance. The role also involves producing clear architecture documentation, managing technical risks, and supporting implementation teams to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven digital architecture, development and delivery experience.
• 2 + years of team leadership, technical leadership
• Experience in leveraging AI assisted development
• Knowledge of Delivery architectures related to continuous integration and delivery
• Strong Stakeholder influence, facilitating workshops, and providing clear, pragmatic advisory on technology and digital delivery.
• Hands‑on background in Software Development, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and understand modern development practices and tools.
• Proven Integration experience, covering API design, data flows, system interoperability, and integration patterns across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Experience leading or influencing architecture in complex environments (e.g., enterprise, government, or large transformation programs).
