Imagine leading the charge in delivering excellence within the Project Management Mods & Ups division at Siemens Energy as a Principal Technical Project Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex modification and upgrade projects for SGT gas turbines, ensuring operational continuity and project delivery success. You will manage the entire project lifecycle, from contract award to final commissioning, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet customer specifications and quality standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in navigating commercial and risk management, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and driving project success.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• You will lead the execution of complex modifications and upgrades for SGT gas turbines, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• You will monitor project budgets and cash flows, implementing corrective actions to optimize financial performance and manage contract variations effectively.
• You will act as the primary point of contact for external customers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• You will identify and mitigate technical, operational, and commercial risks, facilitating alignment between local execution teams and global product competence centers.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• You have extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in technical project management within the power generation, oil & gas, or rotating equipment sectors.
• You possess certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner, with Siemens Energy PM Certification being highly advantageous.
• You have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex gas turbine upgrade or service projects, showcasing your strong leadership capabilities.
• You are skilled in project scheduling, resource planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting, with a deep understanding of SGT gas turbine technology and modifications engineering principles.
