Taobé Consulting is a boutique cosmetic regulatory consultancy for prestige beauty. Since 2017, from Belgium and the UK, we've guided EU, UK and US beauty brands from formula assessment to market launch — with scientific rigour, human flexibility, and a flat, no-blame culture where good people do their best work.
As we grow, we're looking for a Principal Toxicologist & Regulatory Scientific Lead to become a central scientific reference for our team — and one of its most visible voices.
You'll be the person who spots important regulatory changes early, tells our clients what they mean for their products, and designs how we handle them: Impact Assessments and procedures that turn a new rule into calm, efficient product management. You will lead the resolution of our most complex scientific and regulatory questions, ensuring that key decisions are robust, documented and defensible. You will also be a public voice for Taobé through webinars, articles, newsletters and social content
Success in this role looks like: clients who are never caught off guard by a regulatory change; procedures and tools that keep improving; sound, well-defended technical decisions; and a visible Taobé presence that reflects our expertise. This is a senior expert role, not a management one — in our flat structure you lead through science and example. You'll sit at the heart of the team, alongside colleagues who help each other do excellent work.
