As a principal animator, creative problem-solving and creating high quality animation excites you. You focus on elevating the quality of features, delivering on style as set by the animation director. Working closely with the other crafts on the floor, you revel in collaboration, delivering holistic features in meaningful ways. What you will do Create realistic, high quality gameplay animations, using both motion capture and high level key-frame skills. Integrate, refine and improve upon motion capture data. Implement animations in the Unreal Engine. Champion animation quality across the team by providing informal guidance, inspiration, and feedback to the rest of the animation team. Collaborate closely with the design- and gameplay teams to understand their requirements, translate that into animations that support the game mechanics, while adhering to the defined animation direction. Work with the Tech Animation team to define and improve animation pipelines and workflows. Who you are 10+ years of experience as an animator in the video game industry. Shipped at least two AAA titles. Have demonstrated that you can take on complex animation challenges, seeing them through from conception to final implemented quality. Expert skills in keyframe animation and in working with industry standard animation software. Extensive background using motion capture. Strong understanding of game development and design processes. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Bonus: Experience working with motion matching systems. Salary range Starting from 44,000 SEK per month, rising to 90,000 with experience, plus bi-annual bonus, and perks.
