Principal/Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Network Capacity Architect

Role: Principal/Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Network Capacity Architect Remote from Europe Ability to start quickly Have existing and independent right to work in location Must be available to work EST USA. We are looking for a senior migration and infrastructure architect to support large-scale cloud transformation and migration initiatives within a complex enterprise environment with a large Telecoms customer. Key Responsibilities: Lead infrastructure and network capacity planning activities for large-scale migration programs Perform architecture reviews and provide recommendations across cloud, network and platform domains Support AWS Outposts-related planning, integration and operational readiness activities Assess migration readiness, dependencies, scalability and operational risks Work closely with migration execution teams, platform engineering and customer stakeholders to ensure continuity and stabilization during migration waves Support capability planning and operational governance across multiple migration streams Contribute to migration reliability, hypercare and operational support models Required Experience: Strong experience with AWS cloud architecture in enterprise-scale environments Hands-on experience with AWS Outposts and hybrid cloud environments Strong background in network architecture and capacity planning (routing, connectivity, bandwidth, segmentation, firewalling, hybrid networking) Experience with large-scale migration or modernization programs Ability to perform architecture assessments and provide practical operational recommendations Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working across engineering, operations and program governance functions Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification Experience in telecom, financial services or other highly regulated enterprise environments Experience supporting migration continuity, stabilization or hypercare functions Familiarity with automation-driven migration programs and operational support models Profile Characteristics: Strong systems-thinking mindset Able to bridge architecture strategy with operational execution Comfortable working in fast-moving enterprise migration environments Pragmatic, execution-oriented and collaborative
