The Challenge (Responsibilities)
- Develop standards, solution architectures, and roadmaps for Private Cellular and Radio infrastructure.
- Design enterprise Private Cellular solutions supporting campus, manufacturing, data center, and remote-site environments.
- Design and deploy Private 4G/5G networks using licensed and/or CBRS spectrum.
- Collaborate with LAN, WAN, WLAN, Security, and architecture teams to ensure cellular solutions integrate effectively with the broader enterprise network.
- Support Private Cellular initiatives from Proof of Concept through production deployment and serve as a point of escalation for project execution issues.
- Conduct and/or coordinate site surveys for Private Cellular and DAS deployments, developing site plans to achieve appropriate facility coverage.
- Supervise and/or perform onsite installations, maintenance, upgrades, and software enhancements.
- Serve as an escalation point for operational Cellular and Radio infrastructure issues, utilizing tools like Wireshark and iPerf for performance analysis.
- Develop and maintain Operational Support Guides, architecture documentation, deployment procedures, and technical standards.
Your Profile (Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8-10 years of professional experience in cellular, wireless, network engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and signal-boosting solutions.
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying Private Cellular Networks, including Private 4G and/or 5G, using licensed and/or CBRS spectrum.
- Strong understanding of enterprise network technologies, TCP/IP protocols, LTE networks, and RF technologies, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and firewalls.
- Experience with network analysis and performance tools such as Wireshark, iPerf, or comparable technologies.
- High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
- Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."
Desired
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or higher-level Cisco certification.
- Extensive experience supporting cellular connectivity within manufacturing, industrial, campus, or large enterprise environments.
- Experience working directly with cellular infrastructure vendors and manufacturers.
- Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams.
- Advanced Spanish.
