Process Analyst - Application Modernization at BairesDev

In this role, you'll focus specifically on application modernization efforts, analyzing and mapping the business processes behind legacy and mainframe-class systems before they're re-architected into modern cloud platforms. Bringing systems engineering fundamentals and a consulting background, you'll ensure that as applications are transformed, the business logic and processes they support remain clearly understood. This is your opportunity to specialize at the intersection of process analysis and technical modernization, working directly within active transformation projects.

What You'll Do:

- Analyze and map business processes specifically tied to application modernization projects.

- Apply systems engineering fundamentals to understand legacy application logic and workflows.

- Support project-based, client-facing modernization engagements.

- Gather requirements to ensure business processes are accurately reflected in modernized systems.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in business process analysis.

- Background in systems engineering.

- Consulting or professional services background with project-based, client-facing delivery experience.

- Direct experience with application modernization, re-architecting legacy or mainframe-class systems into modern cloud platforms targeting Java, Go, or .NET.

- Strong requirements gathering skills.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
