Process Automation Lead - Arachas Location

Software Developer - Waterford As part of its expansion plans, Arachas is seeking an experienced engineer to join the software development team. The position will be in a flexible, fast-paced, collaborative team environment, and involve working with all levels of management and external service providers. Location: Waterford Reports to: Software Development Manager Role Accountabilities and Core Responsibilities Software Development: Develop and maintain systems to meet the changing needs of the business Manage the implementation of new systems and upgrades Consult with internal clients and external partners to gather requirements about program needs, objectives, functions and features Develop standard and ad-hoc reports for Arachas management team Develop and maintain procedures and policies Implementation of best practices Other projects as assigned by the team lead Experience Requirements: Computer Science degree or equivalent Visual Studio: VB.net or C# development Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and reporting solutions – SSRS, Microsoft Report Viewer Experience with software engineering best practices and SDLC (code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, release, documentation control and change management) Experience with web services Proficient knowledge of Microsoft desktop products, especially Access, Excel & Word Knowledge of project management strategy, such as Agile Interest with Microsoft Azure, or other cloud computing platform is desirable Knowledge of Team Foundation Server, GIT or other source control system is desirable Prior experience working on financial services systems is preferable Vendor management experience preferred Knowledge of Openi and Applied relay applications beneficial Knowledge of salesforce Knowledge of PowerBI Person Specification: Experienced and independent subject matter expert, capable of working on own initiative whilst delivering best practice solutions that deliver the strategic objectives of the program. Possesses a can-do attitude and can get things done, rapidly building an understanding of the Arachas organisation and technical environment. Strong relationship builder and capable of credibly managing internal and external executive stakeholders. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Strong problem solving and coding skills.
