Vattenfall is a European energy company with approximately 21 000 employees. For more than 100 years we have electrified industries, supplied energy to people’s homes and modernized our way of living through innovation and cooperation. We are looking for talented individuals who, in addition to their passion for their own role, also have strong team spirit and want to contribute to supporting a meaningful corporate mission.

We are looking for a Process Specialist (O2C) to join our international Finance Business Support organisation.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of finance, process improvement and digital transformation. You will collaborate with colleagues across Europe, business stakeholders, O2C Experts and our BPO provider to ensure efficient, compliant and future-oriented Order-to-Cash processes.

If you enjoy solving complex challenges, driving improvements and making a visible impact in an international environment, this could be the opportunity for you.

You will play an important role in ensuring excellent service delivery, driving process improvements and supporting our ongoing finance transformation journey, including digitalisation and system developments.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvements within the O2C area, focusing on efficiency, quality and standardisation.
  • Support stable service delivery and collaborate with our BPO provider to ensure high-quality operational performance.
  • Work closely with O2C Experts, business stakeholders and the BPO provider to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, simplification and digitalisation.
  • Support implementation of process and system changes, including SAP and S/4HANA-related initiatives.
  • Analyse operational and process-related issues and contribute to sustainable solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance O2C processes, policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives impacting the Order-to-Cash area.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance and the business.

You are curious, proactive and enjoy improving the way things work. You combine finance knowledge with a structured approach and strong stakeholder management skills.

Your background

  • A university degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience within Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable, Subledger or other finance operations processes.
  • A good understanding of end-to-end business processes and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in an international and collaborative environment.
  • Interest in digitalisation, automation and process optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in both German and English, with the ability to build effective relationships and communicate confidently with stakeholders in an international environment.

Our offer
Good remuneration, a challenging and international work environment, and the possibility to work with some of the best in the field. You will be working in interdisciplinary teams and you can always count on support from committed colleagues. We offer attractive employment conditions and opportunities for personal and professional development.
