- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Procurement, Quality, R&D, Sustainability, and other stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Engage key suppliers, traders, brokers, and market-intelligence providers to obtain additional market insights, challenge internal assumptions, and strengthen the quality of commodity forecasts and sourcing recommendations.
- Support the onboarding and approval of new suppliers and ingredients, in partnership with the Quality team.
- Coordinate the creation of new suppliers and raw material items together with Master Data Management (MDM) and other relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance AI-enabled procurement solutions, models, dashboards, and automated workflows, ensuring that data, assumptions, outputs, and user requirements remain accurate, relevant, and fit for purpose.
- Provide clear, fact-based recommendations on whether, when, and to what extent Nutreco should take positions in commodity purchasing, including purchase timing, volumes, contract duration, based on forward curves, scenario analysis, market intelligence, and approved policy and risk-governance frameworks.
- Participate in procurement projects related to supplier management, process improvement, and other value-adding initiatives.
- Contribute new ideas and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen team performance and business impact.
