Role Description This full-time remote Reporter role at SCS - Gestion technique du bâtiment focuses on covering news and developments related to building technical management, sustainability, and industry innovation. The reporter researches topics, conducts interviews with key stakeholders, and verifies information from multiple sources to produce accurate and timely news articles. Daily responsibilities include drafting and editing written pieces, preparing multimedia elements (such as images, short videos, or infographics), and collaborating with editors to refine story angles and ensure clarity. The reporter monitors industry trends, attends virtual events or briefings when required, and maintains a consistent publishing schedule across digital platforms. The role also involves adhering to editorial standards, meeting deadlines, and contributing ideas for new stories and content formats.
Qualifications

• Strong reporting skills, including fact-finding, source verification, and interviewing.
• Excellent communication and writing abilities, with clear, concise, and gender-neutral language.
• Experience with news writing, including structuring stories, crafting headlines, and adhering to editorial guidelines.
• Competence in multimedia production, such as basic photo, audio, or video editing for digital news content.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with building management, engineering, sustainability, or related technical fields is an advantage.
• Proficiency with digital publishing tools, content management systems, and online research.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
