Job Title Procurement Lead (6 month contract) Job Description Summary A dynamic end-to-end procurement role working nationallyacross RFx, evaluation, negotiation and contract execution. Job Description Procurement Lead 6 Month Fixed Term Contract About the role We’re seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to join our national team on a 6-month fixed term contract. Supporting a dynamic new national client, you’ll drive procurement strategy, sourcing and supplier outcomes across multiple sites and service lines. Working closely with internal stakeholders and client-side teams, this role will oversee end-to-end procurement activity while ensuring probity, compliance and measurable cost optimisation. This is a high-visibility role suited to someone who thrives on managing multiple procurement streams and building strong client partnerships. This role can be based anywhere in Australia, with flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement. Key responsibilities Lead end-to-end procurement activities including RFx, evaluation, negotiation and contract execution Conduct monthly pipeline meetings and develop procurement strategies aligned to client needs Analyse spend data, market trends and benchmarking to drive cost efficiencies Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients Facilitate tender evaluation processes and provide commercial recommendations Ensure compliance with governance, probity and ethical sourcing requirements Support ESG initiatives including supplier diversity and modern slavery considerations Deliver reporting on procurement outcomes, spend and supplier performance About you 3–5+ years’ procurement experience, ideally within facilities management (hard and soft services) or building services Strong experience managing end-to-end procurement lifecycle Proven ability to manage a high volume portfolio in complex environments Demonstrated commercial acumen with a track record of cost optimisation Confident leading RFx processes, evaluations and supplier negotiations Experience working with government or regulated environments is advantageous Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills Experience with eTendering platforms and procurement systems What’s on offer Competitive remuneration package Flexible working – remote or hybrid options available Exposure to a broad and high-profile client portfolio Opportunity to transition into a permanent role Supportive, collaborative national procurement team About Cushman & Wakefield Cushman & Wakefield is one of the world’s leading real estate services firms, with approximately 50,000 employees across 60 countries.
