This Position reports to:

Procurement Team Lead

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to e

sure compliance and to foster professional development.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Sound knowledge in strategic souring activates.
• Manage the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, including Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), Invoice Processing, and Payment follow-up.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement transactions in compliance with company policies and controls.
• Monitor and improve purchasing compliance, invoice accuracy, and payment performance.
• Support supplier onboarding, vendor master maintenance, and supplier issue resolution.
• Analyze procurement and payment data to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Track and resolve blocked invoices, payment delays, and purchase order discrepancies.
• Support audits and maintain documentation in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to drive process standardization and operational excellence.
• Generate reports, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor P2P performance.
• Strong understanding of MRP & Production Order lifecycle.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Procurement Operations, Shared Services, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong knowledge of strategic souring activates, procurement processes, invoice management, accounts payable, and supplier management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Ariba/ (S/4HANA).
• Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or shared services environment.
