In this role, you will lead the full acquisition lifecycle—from analyzing corporate expenditures to identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating high-value contracts, and mitigating supply chain risks. As a Procurement Manager, you will: Sourcing & Strategy: Develop and execute innovative, cost-effective procurement strategies across key spend categories to maximize lifecycle value and reduce overall operational costs. Vendor Management: Research, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and price. Collaborate with the business to establish performance metrics (KPIs) to conduct regular supplier audits and maintain high service-level standards. Contract Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) processes. Negotiate terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors (in collaboration with the business) and partnering with the internal legal team to minimize compliance risks. Risk & Compliance: Identify potential supply chain vulnerabilities (e.g., single-supplier bottlenecks, tariff issues) and establish proactive contingency plans to guarantee business continuity. Budget & Financial Analytics: Monitor spending patterns, conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses, and report on monthly cost-saving initiatives to executive leadership. Process Optimization: Manage and refine the company’s digital procurement workflows and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to ensure accurate tracking from purchase requisition to final payment. Sustainability & CSR: Partner with corporate sustainability stakeholders to source eco-friendly, ethically sound materials that align with our environmental and social responsibility metrics. Qualification and Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity. Certifications: Professional credentials such as SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) are highly preferred. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and specialized procurement management platforms. Expert-level command of Microsoft Excel for spend analysis and data modeling. Core Competencies: Exceptional negotiation, commercial awareness, and relationship-building skills. Deep understanding of contract law, market dynamics, and international shipping/logistics. Analytical mindset capable of translating complex data into actionable financial strategies. Excellent cross-functional communication skills to align goals between technical and non-technical teams.
