Procurement Project Specialist – (€280/Daily)
- Long Term Day Rate Contract with high likelihood of extension
- Hybrid working – 2-days on-site
- Join a major €30M national fibre infrastructure project
- Shape the commercial approach behind major project requirements
A supplier comes back with a strong proposal. The price is high. The terms need work. You’re the person who decides what happens next.
On a €30M national fibre programme, you’ll take ownership of procurement requirements from initial brief through market engagement, tendering, evaluation and negotiation.
You’ll work across infrastructure access, civils, fibre deployment and specialist services — challenging supplier proposals, weighing commercial trade-offs and negotiating the terms that determine how requirements move into delivery.
It’s procurement where your judgement changes the outcome — who gets appointed, what gets agreed and how confidently the project moves forward.
Why You’ll Love This Role
- €30M Programme: Work on major national infrastructure.
- Category Variety: Cover civils, fibre and infrastructure access.
- Commercial Scope: Handle high-value supplier requirements.
- Senior Exposure: Work with Project, Engineering and Commercial leads.
- Clear Ownership: Own tenders through supplier appointment.
What You’ll Do
- Set Sourcing Routes: Choose the right route to market.
- Write Tender Requirements: Define scopes and evaluation criteria.
- Assess Supplier Bids: Compare capability, price and terms.
- Run RFQs & RFPs: Manage tenders through evaluation.
- Negotiate Supplier Terms: Challenge pricing and contract positions.
- Progress Appointments: Move preferred suppliers into delivery.
What You’ll Have
- Procurement Experience: Strong experience in procurement, with your current or most recent role being procurement-focused.
- Tendering & Negotiation: Experience managing sourcing through tender, evaluation, negotiation and award.
- Commercial Judgement: Confident assessing supplier capability, pricing and commercial terms.
- Project Experience: Comfortable working with project teams and senior stakeholders; infrastructure, utilities, construction, engineering or telecommunications experience is beneficial.
