Our Procurement function is made up of a diverse, expert team working collaboratively in a supportive, flexible environment. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensure procurements adhere to Government regulations regarding the advertising and publishing of opportunities. Ensure that the defined best practice procurement processes and policies are followed to deliver maximum use of e-Procurement Systems and processes Develop close co-operative relationships with internal partners to leverage their expertise, understand local market conditions, support their specific aims and objectives, and deliver value adding services and agreements Independently prepare pre-tender and tender documents, following this through the full procurement sourcing life cycle Support the Procurement Manager with any ad-hoc and strategic activities Support driving the implementation of best practices into Procurement operations and service transformation To do this role well you will need to demonstrate the following: Proven track record in preparing and managing tenders and contracts with precision and efficiency, ensuring smooth procurement processes from start to finish. Hands-on experience using eProcurement tools and purchasing platforms to streamline sourcing activities and enhance procurement outcomes. Valuable experience supporting Procurement Managers (or similar roles) by driving best practice procurement, ensuring strict adherence to processes and policies, and maximising opportunities for savings.
