Product Data Specialist

Job Summary

Bison Commerce is looking for a self-driven Product Data Specialist to independently manage an assigned supplier portfolio, ensuring product data quality, maximizing the number of active listings across sales channels, and improving product discoverability and presentation through SEO and content optimization.

This hands-on role is perfect for someone who are comfortable working with large product volumes, using AI tools to process and review content, and applying SEO and marketplace best practices to improve product visibility and customer understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product data for your assigned suppliers: add new products to data base, keep existing ones up to date and fill in missing details.

• Write and improve product titles, bullet points, descriptions and keywords following SEO and marketplace guidelines.

• Contact suppliers about missing or incorrect information, and research the rest in their catalogs, websites and spec sheets.

• Proactively maintain and improve supplier data quality standards.

• Check AI-generated product texts and images, and correct anything inaccurate or below standard.

• Prepare and upload product listings to Amazon, Walmart, eBay and other marketplaces using their templates.

• Fix rejected or inactive listings and flag content that needs updating.

Qualifications

• English at B2 level or higher, written and spoken.

• Confident with Excel or Google Sheets.

• Careful and accurate when working with large amounts of data.

• Basic understanding of SEO and how keywords help products get found online.

• Able to plan your own work and keep to deadlines.

• Curious about AI tools and happy to learn new systems.

Would Be an Advantage

• Experience with e-commerce product data or marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart or eBay.

• Experience with keyword research or listing optimization.

• Experience with a product information management (PIM) system.
