Product Development Engineer

About this Position Execute scale-up on assigned PDP projects mid-Development & Validation through Launch. Perform and validate risk mitigation to ensure minimized to zero risk on products to be launched. Leads in the area of safety and emphasizes the importance of safety related to equipment design, installation and operating instructions, process improvements for safety reasons and the safe handling of raw materials, utilizing HAZOP and other risk assessment techniques. What you´ll do Timely execute scale up on approved PDP projects, mid development, in validation to launch with target of zero CCMS upon NPI. Perform best in class validation of newly designed products to meet customer’s and/or market CTQs in line with strategic & financial goals per ADP requirements. Interfaces with iPM, AE, PSRA, Marketing, AO, especially with Manufacturing Engineering at any Henkel manufacturing plant worldwide selected for the high-volume manufacture of a new product. What makes you a good fit Must possess relevant degree at minimum BS level or above, Chemical Engineering preferred. Minimum 5 years of directly applicable experience in Project Management, Product Development Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering in adhesives, electronic materials or chemical processing; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
