Why this role matters

FibriCheck turns a smartphone into a medically validated heart rhythm monitor. No wearable, no hardware, just a finger on a camera lens. More than 1.5 million people have used it, and for thousands of them it picked up signs of atrial fibrillation, a condition that often goes unnoticed and is a major cause of stroke.

But a measurement that never happens finds nothing. Whether someone takes that first measurement, builds a daily habit, and keeps going after week three is not a detail. It is the difference between detecting a heart rhythm disorder and missing one.

That layer, everything between "downloaded the app" and "this is part of my life now", is what you own.

What you'll do

You take a high-level product brief and turn it into a fully worked out lifecycle journey: the concept, the messaging, the segmentation, the timing. Then you build it yourself in Braze (canvases, campaigns, in-app, email, push), test it, read the data, and improve it.

In the first phase this is hands-on, in the weeds execution. You build it, you ship it, you own the result.

The moments that matter most:

  • Activation: from download to first measurements to feature unlock
  • Habit building: turning a one-off check into a routine
  • Conversion: free trial to paying, essential to premium
  • Retention and renewal: for B2C users and for partner populations (insurers, employers)

Beyond building flows

We are not looking for someone who executes briefs and stops there. The harder and more interesting half of this job:

  • Spotting the pattern across briefings and consolidating, instead of building the same thing a third time
  • Advising product when something should move out of Braze and into the product itself
  • Designing the Braze architecture so it stays maintainable as it grows: segmentation logic, canvas and campaign structure, content card taxonomy, naming conventions, the user data model
  • Knowing which communications actually perform, and advising partners and account managers with concrete examples rather than opinions
  • Guarding quality: material checked against the product source of truth, proper pre-send QA, health claims routed to regulatory before anything goes out

You will also be the one who spots which Braze data deserves to flow into our other systems.

How the role grows

This role is built to evolve. You start boots on the ground and hands on the keyboard, because that is how you learn what actually works here. Over time you move toward setting direction and steering others (internal or external) to execute.

We want someone who can do both, in that order. If you only want to build, you will outgrow this. If you only want to brief, you will be frustrated in month one.

What you bring

  • Strategic enough to think, hands-on enough to build. You get a high-level brief, design the journey end to end, and close the concrete gaps yourself instead of waiting for instructions.
  • Hands-on Braze experience. Segmentation, complex canvas journeys & campaigning, multi-channel (push, in-app, email), A/B testing. We'll also consider deep hands-on experience with Iterable or Customer.io. Experience with a customer engagement platform is a hard requirement.
  • Funnel experience that includes revenue. Activation and retention, but also trial to paid and upgrade paths.
  • Data literacy. You set up your own reporting, read it honestly, and change course when the numbers say so.
  • You finish things. Ambiguity does not stall you, and loose ends bother you.
  • Judgement in a regulated context. You understand that the line between wellness and medical claims is real, and you never blur it to make a subject line punchier.

Nice to have: health or medical adjacent product experience, mobile app lifecycle marketing, SQL and advanced segmentation, localization workflows.

Who you'll work with

You sit between product and marketing and work with both on a daily basis: product for briefs, feature context and concept sign-off; marketing for brand, tone of voice and campaigns. You will also work with other teams: regulatory for claim approval; account managers and partners for what to advise them. As the role evolves you steer external agencies and freelancers.

We deliberately leave the formal reporting line open until we meet you, and will set it based on where your strengths sit.

How we work

Hybrid and remote-first. We ask for occasional on-site presence at the office, roughly monthly and around key planning or launch moments, with a bit more during your first weeks. You are eligible to work in the EU and based within a few hours of CET, so you can join conversations when it matters.

What we offer

  • A full-time employment role with real ownership: you shape how people discover, adopt and keep using our health features
  • A clear growth path: from hands-on builder to lifecycle lead who sets direction and steers others
  • Work with direct impact on health: every measurement you help make happen can make a difference
  • A small, high-impact team building health and medical software used by more than 1.5 million people
  • Competitive compensation package including mobility budget, group and health insurance, and several other benefits
  • Hybrid, remote-first (office: Hasselt, Corda Campus)

Interested?

Send your CV and a short motivation to careers@fibricheck.com. In it, tell us:

  • Which customer engagement platform(s) you've worked with hands-on and what you built and achieved with them;
  • One lifecycle journey you designed and built yourself: what it had to achieve, what you changed along the way, and what the data told you.

Applications without a short cover note will not be reviewed.

Our hiring process is straightforward:

  1. CV & cover letter screening
  2. Short intro call: we want to get a feel for who you are and what drives you
  3. In-depth interview: we go deep on experience, working style, and lifecycle thinking
  4. Case: a practical assignment that reflects the actual work
  5. Offer
