Product Manager

Type: Full Time Contract | Setup: Remote | Experience: 3 to 5+ years

About the Role

We're hiring a Product Manager to own a product area end to end, from the problem worth solving to the thing that ships and the metrics that tell you it worked. You'll spend your time close to users and close to engineering, making the calls on what gets built next and why.

The client is a technology company building software that real customers depend on daily, where product decisions carry weight and the feedback loop is short. You'll partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market to turn a roadmap into working features, and you'll be accountable for whether those features actually move the numbers that matter.

This role is for someone who's tired of being a ticket-writer and wants to own outcomes: the strategy, the trade-offs, and the results.

What You'll Do

  • Own the roadmap and priorities for your product area, and defend the reasoning behind them
  • Talk to users regularly and turn what you hear into a clear, ranked set of problems worth solving
  • Write crisp product specs and acceptance criteria that engineering can build from without guessing
  • Partner day to day with design and engineering through discovery, build, and launch
  • Define the success metrics up front, then actually check them after release
  • Balance customer requests, business goals, and technical reality when they pull in different directions
  • Keep stakeholders informed on what's shipping, what's next, and what changed
  • Make the tough call on what not to build, and be able to explain it

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years in product management, ideally shipping software in a fast-moving environment
  • Evidence you've owned a product or feature area and can point to outcomes, not just output
  • Comfort with data: you can pull it, read it, and let it change your mind
  • Strong writing; your specs and updates are clear enough that people don't need a meeting to understand them
  • A working relationship with engineering and design that's collaborative, not transactional
  • Experience running discovery, user interviews, usability testing, or the equivalent
  • Familiarity with modern product tooling (Jira, Linear, Amplitude, Figma, or similar)
  • Experience on distributed, remote teams is a plus

Why Join Us

You'll work with engineers and designers who care about the details and expect their PM to care too. Decisions get made close to the work, and you'll have room to shape not just the roadmap but how the team decides what goes on it.

If you want a seat where your judgment actually drives the product, this is it.
