As a Product Manager this is what you’ll be doing: QS is seeking a Product Manager, Digital Experience, to help shape how students discover, engage with and navigate the TopUniversities ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, Digital Experience, you will own and deliver product initiatives that improve discovery, engagement, identity and career intelligence experiences across the student journey. Working closely with Engineering, UX, Data, Marketing and Commercial teams, you will identify customer problems, validate opportunities and deliver solutions that increase engagement, profile growth, personalisation and progression. The Digital Product Team is leading the evolution of the QS TopUniversities ecosystem, transforming how students discover, evaluate and pursue higher education opportunities around the world. Historically, our platforms have helped millions of students access trusted rankings, university information and guidance. Today, we are building a more connected ecosystem that combines discovery, identity, personalisation, career intelligence and decision support to help students make more informed choices about their future. As part of this transformation, we are evolving from a collection of digital experiences into an integrated product ecosystem that creates value for students throughout their decision-making journey while delivering stronger engagement, higher-quality demand and improved outcomes for university partners. You will contribute to the evolution of QS TopUniversities, helping students move seamlessly from exploration and discovery through to informed decision-making. Success is measured through engagement, known-user growth, profile completion, journey progression and contribution to business outcomes. Deliver product initiatives that improve student discovery, engagement and progression across the TopUniversities ecosystem. Use experimentation, customer insight and data to identify opportunities and drive measurable improvements. Contribute to personalisation, recommendation and career intelligence experiences that improve decision confidence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver connected experiences that create value for students and university partners Role responsibilities Product strategy and delivery Deliver product initiatives aligned to the Digital Experience roadmap and strategic objectives. Translate roadmap priorities into clear backlog items, user stories and delivery plans. Design and optimise experiences that help students discover relevant universities, programmes, content and opportunities. Improve registration, onboarding and profile completion journeys to increase engagement and known-user growth. Support the development of connected experiences across the QS TopUniversities ecosystem. Discovery, engagement and career intelligence Treat discovery, relevance and student guidance as core product capabilities. Improve how students explore education pathways, university choices and future career opportunities. Contribute to personalisation, recommendation and career intelligence experiences that connect student interests, aspirations and behaviours with relevant opportunities. Use behavioural, profile and intent signals to improve relevance, engagement and decision confidence. Support initiatives that help students better understand the relationship between education choices and career outcomes. Experimentation and analytics Define and run experiments across anonymous and logged-in experiences. Use behavioural, cohort and funnel data to identify opportunities and measure impact. Define success metrics and track performance against agreed objectives. Partner with Data and Engineering teams to ensure key journeys are correctly instrumented and measurable. Apply insights and learnings to continuously improve engagement and progression outcomes. Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management Partner closely with Product, UX, Engineering, Data, CRM/Lifecycle, Content, SEO and Marketing teams. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across global and regional teams. Communicate priorities, progress and outcomes clearly and effectively. Contribute to roadmap planning and product strategy discussions within the Digital Product Team. Other Support broader product initiatives across the TopUniversities ecosystem. Contribute to the continuous improvement of product management practices. Any other duties that fall within the purpose and scope of the role . Success milestones 3 months: Build a strong understanding of students, products, key metrics and strategic priorities; identify opportunities and contribute to roadmap planning. 6 months: Deliver product improvements that increase engagement, profile growth or journey progression; establish a regular experimentation and learning cadence. 12 months : Deliver sustained improvements in engagement, known-user growth and personalisation; contribute to career intelligence capabilities and demonstrate measurable impact on student and business outcomes Key skills and experience Proven experience delivering customer-facing digital products within cross-functional teams. Strong product discovery skills, including customer research, problem definition and opportunity validation. Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions and prioritisation. Experience managing product backlogs, defining requirements and working within Agile delivery environments. Understanding of engagement, activation, onboarding or customer journey optimisation. Hands-on experimentation mindset with experience supporting A/B testing and iterative product development. Experience defining success metrics and measuring product outcomes. Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and experience working closely with UX and Engineering teams. Experience using analytics and behavioural data to identify opportunities and measure impact. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams and functions. Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and balancing customer, business and technical considerations. Advantageous: Experience with personalisation, recommendation, matching or decision-support products. Experience with career intelligence, skills intelligence, pathway recommendation or guidance products. Experience with registration, identity, onboarding or profile-based experiences. Experience in consumer-facing digital products, marketplaces, platforms or content ecosystems. Experience with SEO, lifecycle marketing or growth-focused product development. Experience within EdTech, higher education, student recruitment, careers or employability products. Technical fluency and confidence working with engineering and data teams. Experience working within global organisations and distributed teams.
