Heres what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: The Product Manager - Data Operations Lead position is a highly technical and strategic leadership position in the organization that is responsible for managing multiple consulting and delivery projects and account teams/programs. The PM - Data Ops Lead provides consulting and delivery assurance of services for clients through a range of internal and external functions in the following areas: Consulting, Account Interaction, Service Delivery, and Practice Delivery responsibilities. In this dual-focus role, you will combine the strategic execution of a Technical Program Manager and Product Owner with the deep technical expertise and client-facing consultation abilities of a Practice Architect. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of high-stakes data programs, specifically supporting enterprise clients in their development of frontier AI models through large-scale data annotation, RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), Agentic AI and rigorous model evaluation services. Project sizes range from transactional solutions of < $1M to multi-year outsourcing solutions of > $10M. The PA is expected to have the experience and background to perform all the duties described below for engagements that are focused on consulting/delivery management within the Frontier AI Data subject matter area. Key Responsibilities -Product & Program Strategy (The "Data Product" Roadmap) -Data Flywheel Management: Oversee the end-to-end data lifecycle, managing the "flywheel" of data ingestion, annotation, and model feedback. Treat the data pipeline as a product, continuously refining the roadmap to improve data quality and throughput. -Strategic Evaluation Design: Own the roadmap for data and evaluation services for frontier AI models. Collaborate with Research and Engineering to define evaluation methodologies, success metrics (KPIs), and "Ground Truth" standards. -Prompt Engineering Strategy: Architect complex prompt strategies for model testing and "Red Teaming." Design prompt libraries that stress-test models for safety, bias, and factual accuracy. -Innovation & Trends: Analyze trends in operational data to uncover improvement opportunities and implement scalable solutions. Innovate with purpose, promoting a culture of customer-centered work and sharing lessons learned with the team. Design and deliver an innovation process. -Operational & Editorial Excellence (The "Practice Architect" Delivery) -Editorial Operations Architecture: Design and manage high-volume Editorial Operations workflows. Apply journalistic rigor to the data annotation process, creating comprehensive rubric guides, tone-of-voice documentation, and fact-checking protocols to ensure high-quality human feedback. -Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) Frameworks: Architect robust HITL systems. Develop technical solutions to automate data pipelines and establish quality frameworks that ensure inter-rater reliability (IRR) across diverse, global teams of annotators. -Risk & Communication: Monitor program health, track milestones, and communicate technical trade-offs or risks to leadership and cross-functional teams using multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of unique audience needs. -Knowledge Management: Implement knowledge management strategies and ensure delivery methodologies are understood and followed by the team from project initiation to closeout. -Enterprise Client Partnership & Consultation -Consultative Leadership: Act in a consultative and implementation capacity with prospective and current customers, serving as the primary liaison. Ensure a clear understanding of customer needs and design the best solution, managing expectations and ensuring contract understanding and acceptance for deliverables, costs, timelines, risks, and assumptions. -Pre-Sales Support: Partner with sales teams to create and present solution proposals to sell services and solutions to new and existing enterprise clients. Lead the technical component of SOW (Statement of Work) creation. -Business Expansion: Maintain awareness for additional business opportunities and support pursuit of future business through quality results and escalation to internal stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Journalism/Linguistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience: Approximately 510+ years of experience in program/product management, technical consulting, or service delivery leadership, with a track record of launching technical products or features for enterprise clients. Domain Expertise: Experience managing data pipelines, editorial/content operations, data annotation workflows, or model evaluation frameworks (e.g., benchmark development or human-in-the-loop systems). Technical Skills: Experience with data analytics, data management, and technical troubleshooting; Execution: Proven ability to manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners. Preferred Qualifications Editorial & Content Strategy Background: 5+ years of experience in editorial operations, journalism, or content strategy. Proven ability to manage editorial calendars, define rubric guides, and lead large teams of writers/editors. Experience transitioning editorial skills into AI Data Operations is highly desirable. AI Certification: PMI Certified Professional in Managing AI Projects (PMI-CP) or similar advanced AI program management credentials. Prompt Engineering: Demonstrated expertise or certification in Prompt Engineering, with a deep understanding of LLM behaviors, hallucination modes, and chain-of-thought reasoning. Technical Product Management: Proven ability to define a product vision, create roadmaps, and write detailed PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) for AI infrastructure or data services; proficiency with SQL and scripting is a plus. Multi-Lingual Capabilities: Proficiency in multiple languages (e.g., Urdu, Hindi, Spanish) to support global data evaluation and multi-lingual model training. Agile Mastery: Advanced certifications in Scrum (e.g., Scrum: Advanced, CSM, PSM)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $148200.00 - $222400.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
