Product Manager - Data Platform (m/f/d)

About the role We are looking for a Data Platform Product Manager who combines product thinking with a strong understanding of cloud technologies, FinOps and Data Platform operations. In this role, you will drive the evolution of a modern data platform and enable scalable, secure and cost-efficient data capabilities across the organization. What you'll do Define and execute the technical roadmap for the data platform . Drive the development of cloud-based data environments across Azure, Databricks and related technologies. Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security and operational excellence . Lead FinOps initiatives, cloud cost optimization and budgeting processes. Implement and improve DevOps/DataOps practices , CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code standards. Manage relationships with technology vendors and coordinate procurement activities. Oversee contracts, SLAs, licensing, purchase orders and invoice validation processes. Collaborate closely with Data, AI, Engineering, Finance and Business stakeholders. What we're looking for 3+ years of experience managing a data platform or technical product . Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Services or similar cloud data ecosystems. Practical knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization. Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Cod e. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience working with technology vendors, contracts and procurement processes. Understanding of budgeting, purchase orders and financial governance processes. English proficiency at C1 level or higher . Nice to have Experience with Data Mesh, Data Governance or Lakehouse architecture. Azure, FinOps or Product Management certifications. Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, dbt or Atlan. Familiarity with GDPR, AI Act and modern data governance standards.
