Overview The Product Manager, Data Products is responsible for building Origami's data products from the ground up, deciding what data and insights matter most to clients, then owning the roadmap and driving commercialization and adoption once it's live. Responsibilities Defines the product vision and strategy for Origami’s data product, grounded in client research, competitive intelligence, and market fit. Determines what data, calculations, and insights will have the most impact for clients. Acts as the primary evangelist for the product who deeply understands every aspect of the product capabilities and who is able to explain them to clients with clarity. Articulates compelling product use cases that show how the product solves real problems. Works with Data Engineering to scope the right MLP: what is built now, later, and what is not worth building. Builds and owns the product roadmap, prioritizes ruthlessly, and communicates progress to leadership. Defines acceptable data confidence intervals, accuracy scores and other qualitative measurements both internally and externally to communicate the caliber and quality of Origami’s data products. Drives adoption and feedback loops once the product is live, understanding how clients use it and how the product should evolve. Partners with Sales, Marketing, and Client Success in positioning the product and identifying early wins. Creates and maintains robust internal and external documentation in the form of model documents, industry studies, and informational videos. Becomes as the Subject Matter Expert on the what/why/how of Origami products that clients and stakeholders can rely upon for in-depth understanding and analytical insights. Creates data products with commercialization in mind, identifying opportunities and appropriate pricing strategies to maximize revenue while delivering superior value to clients. Analyzes fixed pricing, consumption, tiered, and other pricing schemas to drive revenue. Ensures data products are defined with appropriate tracking, guardrails, and operational support to enable scaling, and commercialization activities with appropriate transparency and audit requirements.
