Product Manager - Wavelength, Fibre and Colocation

Job Description

Arelion Product Management team supports the entire organization, shaping and defining our products and services to delight our customers. By working closely with stakeholders across the company, the team ensures commercial success across our routes-to-market, and capabilities for operational support in line with high-quality customer experience.
Your role will be very closely linked to network expansion planning and managing newest technologies. You will be working closely with sales to enable sustainable growth through new customer acquisitions, enhancing product features and delivering on the best customer experience.
There could not be a more exciting time for high-capacity services at Arelion, with AI investments fueling fibre market and fibre sales in turn driving investments in network expansion.
The position is planned to be filled in Sweden or UK.

Job Requirements

• Strong expertise in Fibre and Wavelength connectivity solutions as well as understanding of the use cases that they enable. You also need a good understanding of business dynamics and markets – especially evolving Fibre market
• Demonstrable experience supporting projects across a number of teams in a constantly changing environment; ability to engage and drive product development activities cross-functional and cross-cultural teams and manage the day-to-day operations around it.
• Ability to drive results in an international high pace environment, understanding cultural differences, and collaborating seamlessly whether on site or remote; a good level of expertise in translating and driving proposition ideas into commercial success, along with strong communication skills to translate multiple projects into a single clear Product view
• A data-driven mindset, analytical skills and strong business orientation
• Excellent people skills, with a positive and collaborative approach and experience developing strong networks across multiple internal stakeholder and delivery areas
• Resilient and able to adjust to changing objectives and communicate these positively to others
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the knowledge leader, internal and external, for our core products Wavelengths, Fibre and Colocation – you are able and willing to drive the overall execution of the product roadmap aligned with own network developments
• Support creation and execution of network expansion business cases, assess impacts and act as the subject matter expert
• Take product and business ownership of key developments, defining clear business vision and working with technology and operational teams to deliver planned and new improvements for the Wavelength, Fibre and Colocation portfolios
• Work with the marketing teams to develop and launch customer-facing messaging for use in marketing channels or in PR, along with internal knowledge bases in all channels including web, intranet, operational FAQ etc.
• Work with the legal team to develop relevant T&Cs and work on marketing claims substantiation where necessary, support product evaluation of 3rd party legal agreements and customer specific requests
• You will be the “lender of last resort” in your knowledge area – the fixer of unfixed problems that no one else knows what to do with it.
